“ I was haggling with Garrett on the price of an Norinco SKS when he came across a M1 Carbine that he thought might interest me - he was right. We completed the sale at a decent price (thank you very much) and Garrett shipped the gun in short order. Upon arriving at the FFL here in NH I unpackaged it and took a quick look. It looked like it was in pretty good shape for an old gun. I dry fired it and it all seemed to function and work well but I was a bit rushed since the store was pretty busy. (BTW - if you are in NH Northeast Munitions is a great place to conduct transfers - they are my go to guys). When I got home I began to take the rifle apart to give it a good bath and notice fairly quick that the bolt wasn't complete - the extractor and related parts were all missing. If you have an M1 you know that the extractor is a real PITA to get in and out so it didn't just fall out, whoever sold it to Garrett would have known these parts were missing. Anyway - I quickly reached out to Garrett via email to let him know the rifle was not 100% and included what it would cost for me to replace the missing parts. Within about 10 minutes from hitting "send" my phone was ringing and Garrett could not have been more apologetic. He indicated that he wanted to make this right and offered to paypal me the money to cover the cost of the parts and promised me a "special deal" on a future sale. Sure enough, the parts money showed up in my paypal the next day. Now I just need Garrett to find me another sweet deal on a milsurp rifle to I can add to my collection - hint hint ....Yugo SKS. Thanks Garrett!!!”
