We Are the Clear Choice for Electronic Fingerprinting

Electronic Fingerprints

Electronic fingerprints are the new standard for the ATF's eForm 4 application. Gone are the days of needing to find an NFA dealer with a Silencer Shop kiosk to take your digital prints. When the ATF released the eForm 4 in December of 2021, they opened up submitting electronic fingerprints immediately in the application. While many dealers still choose to roll ink fingerprints, it's highly recommended to submit an EFT file with your eForm 4.

WHY SUBMIT AN EFT FILE

EFT files are recommended because us, along with many dealers, are seeing the AFT claim the ink fingerprints never arrive which results in the ATF denying your eForm 4 application after waiting 1-2 months. Even though our tracking shows the ink prints arrived on time, we still have to bring you back into the shop, re-roll your prints, and re-submit the eForm 4. No one likes spending another hour duplicating work.

WHY DO ELECTRONIC FINGERPRINTS COST MONEY?

It's simple, we have upfront costs buying the hardware. We also need to maintain the hardware and upgrade in the future. We are also charged a fee for using the software that creates the EFT file. The good news is, this is a one time fee! Once we create your EFT, you will receive a copy of the file. You can use this EFT for ALL future eForm 4's.

CAN I USE THE EFT FOR MORE THAN THE ATF EFORM 4?

You bet!
